We did a WWII French resistance tour with Lucien. His grasp of the history and the specific details were incredible. His deep knowledge and preparation was quite evident. Also, his ability to relay it to us was great. There is no way we could have done this on our own. Definitely a value added tour and worth the money. I give him the highest praise.

We had a great time with Joao on our photo tour of Montmartre. Having lived in the neighborhood for 20+ years, he is wealth of knowledge, and it was lovely to leisurely stroll around and learn about the history of Montmartre and how it has changed over the years. We stopped and got snacks at a couple places, he pointed out the THREE "Meilleure Baguette de Tradition Française" on Rue des Abbesses as well as other "best of" spots, including ones that locals go to. He talked about Amelie changed parts of the neighborhood. On top of everything else, we got a folder of great, edited photos of our family to remember the outing and our trip. He was also incredibly engaging with our kids (see photo)

Our tour of the Marais with Paolo was wonderful. He's a treasure trove of information and stories - and explains everything in the most engaging way. Was a delight to wander the streets of the Marais with him and hear all about the history and culture. Plenty of humour too. Really memorable.

This was a very bad experience. We went to the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour. We were unable to find our English speaking tour guide. The Spanish speaking tour guide assured us they would be there soon. Eventually we met up with the group which was about 50 people! The information presented made it sound like the groups would be a small group. After we got through the first line the group was divided into 2 groups of about 25. Our tour guide had trouble getting us into the Louvre. The group ticket voucher she had did not work. Our group of 25 had to wait at the desk for over 15 minutes not knowing what was happening. When we finally got into the Louvre the tour we hit some highlights (Diana, Nike, Venus de Milo) the tour guide was nice but with the large group and having to wear a head set it may have been better to have a recording. We left before the end of the tour because it was confusing. I was very disappointed.
