Louvre by night. Discover the Louvre in excellent conditions with less frequentation and fantastic lighting. You will enjoy walking in the Italian Gallery and see paintings by Raphael, Da Vinci or Caravaggio. Did you know it's here that the beginning of the Da Vinci code was shot? Your professional licensed guide will tell you the legend of Monna Lisa. You will also be impressed by the very well lit French sculptures in the beautiful and elegant courtyard of Marly. You have priority passes for immediate entry into the museum.

Enjoy this tour fully in Fall & Winter times when it is really dark outside.

This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, Place du Carrousel, 75001 Paris France

Meeting with your professional guide at the Carousel arc at 6.30 pm. Your guide will be waiting for you with a sign. The impressive pyramid made by the American architect Pei is the main entrance of the Museum. You have a pass for priority entry. With your professional guide you will then visit the 3 departments of the Museum: Sully, Denon and Richelieu. In the Sully wing, you will discover the oldest part of the Museum. You will be immersed in the world of the Middle Ages. In the Denon department, you will find wonderful Greek statues: Venus de Milo & Victoire de Samothrace as well as Italian paintings. The Italian Gallery is almost 1 km long. It houses most of the great Italian masters: Da Vinci, Raphael, Caravaggio, Veronese, .... A little further you will discover all the details of the Coronation of Napoleon. David's gigantic painting tells us about the Coronation of the Emperor in Notre Dame Cathedral.

This was a good tour of the Lourve highlights. Doing it at night was supposed to eliminate crowds. i do not know what days are like but it was still crowded. guide was very knowledgeable and explained famous paintings.
