Your tour guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel or in front the apartment you will be renting.

Usually we pick you up at your accommodation at 8:00am or at 2:00pm (please send us your exact address in Paris when booking)

We had Frederic as our guide and he was great...very knowledgeable and could answer all of our questions. He was very efficient in getting us in & out of the places we needed to be. Plus, he took us to an awesome local crepe restaurant for lunch. Very nice tour!

We were driven by Christian, a wonderful wonderful person. He's very seasoned, excellent driver, impeccable mannerism, delightfully friendly. Philippe was very easy to work with in terms of booking our tour. I would highly recommend this company and Christian as a tour guide. We (two adults, two teens) were first driven to Giverney, and we were able to enjoy the famous bridge and lily pond before the property became very busy with people, which allowed for some great photo opportunities. The property is beautiful and very worth visiting (home of Claude Monet). We visited Versailles in the afternoon. Christian parked near the lake (pond) and outdoor cafe / restaurant, which allowed us to walk through the gardens on the way to the Palais. We had really wanted to see the gardens and many of the tours we researched did not include the gardens for the 1/2 day option. We had a skip the line ticket for a 2:30 tour (one still has to go through security, we were there on June 30, 2019 and didn't wait more than about 15 minutes to enter the security check area, which was great as the crowds were thick). Christian educated us about the gardens, statues and other areas of the beautiful grounds and we arrived exactly on time for our 2:30 tour. He's very knowledgable of both Giverny and Versailles, and he acted as our personal tour guide in the Palais as well, giving us interesting history all along the way. We enjoy musuem settings, but felt an entire day at Versailles was problaby a bit much for us. A half day in Giverny and half day in Versailles was exactly right and we didn't feel like we missed anything. We never felt rushed at either venue. Christian was charming, held the door for the van, talked about the countryside as we drove back and forth from Paris to Normandy, and picked us up at our apartment and dropped us off at our door. We had such great fun talking with him. We couldn't have asked for better service and felt we got a great value for the cost of the tour. Again highly recommend Best of France!
