Overview

Discover the Underground side of Rome with a 3 hours walking tour of the off the beaten track with your expert guide!

Meet your guide in front of San Clemente Basilica entrance and dig into the roman past through the three levels of the ancient Basilica, each belonging to a different period. San Clemente is an early Christian Basilica, where they used to hide to celebrate their religious rituals.

The second stop will be in the Crypt of the Bones in Via Veneto. Delve into the creepy side of the Eternal city and walk along the artistic walls covered with bones of the Capuchins dead between 16th and 19th century. It is for sure a location for the brave ones!

Finally explore the Vicus Caprarius to admire the ruins of the ancient aqueduct, below the ground level of Trevi Fountain. Vicus Caprarius is known also under the suggestive name of "City of Water" as it used to bring it to the area nearby during the Empire period.
