The tour was given by a PhD in architectural studies who had actually worked in this site. It was beyond fantastic because he was able to show us recent findings and give us detailed information as to what the research was indicating regarding the findings. This place is only 40 minutes via metro from Rome (1.50 euros one way) and it shows the thriving commercial town and the lives of common people (homes, business, bath houses, commercial offices etc). Worth seeing on a day trip. LivTours is a family owned business that is easy to book, easy app to use, and very responsive via text if have questions. This was my first tour with them and I highly recommend.

Mossimo was a wonderful tour guide. He was on time, gracious and patient since it was very hot and we took many breaks in the shade. He explained everything to us and showed us many beautiful things. Ostia Antica is amazing, just a short train ride from Rome. Even my 8 year old loved it despite the heat. I highly recommend this tour and Mossimo!

Federica was an excellent tour guide. My boyfriend and I learned so much history about Ostia Antica. And Federica was very knowledgable and able to answer all of our questions. This was an amazing experience and well worth the money. I would definitely book with LivTours in the future.
