Meander through the old city with cobbled streets while drinking fresh mountain water from the Fontanelle's, which are elegant fountains scattered around the city. Treat yourself to fresh and tasty pastries and gelato, and top it off by taking pictures of famous Roman monuments.

A private guided tour is highly desirable if you can afford it: (a) it is an interactive experience with the tour guide and (b) you can go at your own pace in the allotted time. Our 3-hour private guided tour was with Tommaso B. He was very knowledgeable, personable and we very much enjoyed the tour and it met our expectations.

My husband and I had a private tour of Rome with Irene. This tour was one of the high points of our week touring the Mediterranean. Irene is not only a native of Rome but an archeologist, with a wealth of knowledge on the ancient sites, history, drama, politics, and all the nuances that are Rome. Thanks again for a great day.

We saw parts of Rome we might not have seen had we been on our own. Fabio was great. He had answers for all our questions and spoke to us in great English and really kept us interested.
