Stop At: Catacombs of Saint Callixtus, Via Appia Antica 110, 00179 Rome Italy

Visit the burial place of the early Christians, escorted through the tunnels by a guide that works for the Catacombs. It is not mandatory, you can always discuss alternatives with your driver

Stop At: Trevi Fountain, Piazza di Trevi, 00187 Rome Italy

Toss the famos coin into the fountain wishing to come back

We really enjoyed the tour. Max, our guide and driver, was a pleasure to spend the day with and of course very knowledgeable. We took the advice of Max, and the company, and viewed the Colosseum and Pantheon from the outside (we can wait in line on another day when we don't have a private driver). Overall very well done; expensive but worth it.

Outstanding and detailed highlights tour of Ancient Rome - filled with highly interesting details about the area, with lots of added stops and flexibility. We were lucky to have Angelo from Rome Private Excursions provide our transport in his beautiful Mercedes Van. He was so warm to both my children (11 & 9 years old). The day was completely customized so we didn’t double track from our prior tours and excursions. Angelo provided multiple options and made sure every one of our requests were achieved (and in every instance exceeded). We are siblings who have both been to Rome and are history buffs, so we arranged a custom tour of the lesser seen sites as well as some typical sites. Manny , our driver/guide who is born and raised in Rome and very well versed in it's history, did a slendid job. He is fluent in English, was punctual and handled the 8 hrs of Rome traffic perfectly. He shared some of his favorite places as well as the ones we asked for.Thank you Manny and RPE for excellent service.

Oh my goodness!! I cannot recommend this Rome private tour highly enough. It was a perfect day of seeing the sites from pick up to drop off. So engaging, so educational, all of it- SOOOO good! Luca and his amazing team handled all the details so professionally. We were there a couple days before Christmas, and traffic was busier than usual. Luca made sure we got picked up earlier so that we could make all our tour times. That’s above and beyond. There were only two of us, but we could ask all the questions without any eye-rolling. As they say in Italy “Perfetto”!
