Mt Batur trekking was one of the best experiences in Bali. Wonderful views, amazing walk up and down. Our trekking guide was great, really nice person. Pick up and drop of was all on time and nicely managed. Please mind that you need to be quite fit to get up and down. But it is definitely worth it. Hot spring also a nice experience, nice location. It makes sense to go down a little earlier than tones of other people to arrive at hot spring location before the crowds. The only thing that I really did not like was a speedy visit of a “coffee plantation” at the very end… there was no plantation there and the entire thing exists only to force you to buy some products. Kind of negative vibe there, I would definitely remove this point from the tour.

This experience is one that will stay with me forever. The hike up was the most challenging and invigorating thing I've done thus far (and I weight and strength train 5 days a week and do cardio 4 times a week). This experience was more challenging mentally as my mind was ready to quit before my body was. The hike is a straight incline and seems scary as its dark outside and you are unable to see where you are going. However, I pushed through with the help of the motivational words from Dr. Eric Thomas, "don't cry to stop; cry to keep going." So glad I kept going. The immense feeling of mental victory once I reached the top was overwhelming. I feel like I unlocked a new level of mental strength! Overall great experience! The hike down was challenging as its slippery, but more enjoyable because now I knew what to expect.

It was wonderful experience! I absolutely can recommend Kuas as guide. The climb up the mountain was quite difficult for me, so he helped me all the way. It was quite chilly on the mountain, so he prepared hot chocolate for us, brought us blankets and chairs. He also prepared breakfast - banana toast and eggs cooked at the hot spring of the volcano. When it got warm enough, the monkeys climbed the mountain and we fed them bananas. Kuas also told many interesting facts about this area. I am very satisfied with this experience!
