Overview

Preparation:

1. Guided tour starts with the guest(s) signing the required consent forms.

2. Securing your belongings in designated boxes.

3. The guest(s) will be assisted in choosing the suitable paddle and will be briefed on the proper paddling methods and safety precautions along with others joining the adventure.

4. Then you will choose your kayak. There are single or double kayak, depending on the number of people.

Journey:

1. The guest(s) will enjoy the scenery of the mangroves, the surroundings of trees, and nature over a small break.

2. A refreshing fruit bowl will be provided during the journey on a break

3. Guides will be on the journey to help assist with the paddling or kayak if necessary.

A peaceful and relaxing way to see a different part of Abu Dhabi We had a double kayak and a guide all to ourselves on an 8am tour There is an option to swim Area to change, leave shoes etc on dock and dry bags to borrow for valuables Very good joining instructions

As with other reviews we were asked to be at the meeting point 30 minutes ahead of the booking to be sure that the group was ready to depart on time so were surprised when the group was just the two of us. We were introduced to our guide, given the necessary quick instructions and set off in a double kayak. Our guide, whose name I've forgotten (sorry), set an easy to follow pace, checking we were OK and telling us about the area. We'd picked high tide which meant we could explore the narrower channels, but unfortunately the flocks of birds had moved to shallower water to feed which meant very little wildlife on show. The first part of the trip took us about 50 minutes to get to the beach where we had a long rest (swimming optional) before the 10 minute paddle back. Very relaxed tour, not much wildlife but very interesting to see the mangroves up close and and learn a bit about the area. Definitely something I'd do ago.

This has been a highlight of our visit. Our guide made it fun. All the staff were great. Take swimming stuff. This is a must do when visiting Abu Dhabi! Thank you.

It’s a very nice 2.5 KM kayaking path, it’s a great way to get an escape from the city crowd, get some time with the nature, see some fish and birds, and get some nice exercise done. Very friendly guides and very beginner friendly The only disappointing bit for me was how overly beginner friendly it was, I’ve been sea kayaking before, and this just wasn’t up to the same challenge. But if you’ve never kayaked before or just like it for recreation, and don’t require a challenge, it should be good fun for you!
