This is a complete con. You have to pay for everything extra. It is not as described on the website. The food was terrible. The drive there and back was very dangerous. I’m sure there is better tours available.

Tour said hotel pickup was included and would be between 3-3:30. We get a text at noon the day of the trip saying numbers were too low for hotel pick up and that we must meet at a mall at 1:30 to go on trip. Luckily we were not far away because we had not planned on leaving that early on that short of notice we asked if 2 would work and they said no only 1:30. We arrive at the mall at 1:20 get in bus and are waiting over an hour before we leave at 2:30. The bus was completly full so I imagine they advertise free hotel pickup and just last minute tell people they have to go to a meeting point, not cool. We get to the desert (a full 2 hour ride so be ready) the camel "rides" we more like camel get on and picture unless you paid extra for a 5 minute walk out and back. You also had to pay for pictures (to be expected) there were also only 4 camels, maybe I just had really high expectations. there were no sand boards that I saw in this desert carnival. We saw a nice sunset but be quick because it's gone in under 5 minutes. Literally everything you have to pay for in addition to your entry tickets. The site said that it included all these things but not really. You could get on the camel, but no ride without paying. You could get a henna tattoo but one small flower she rushed through if you weren't paying. Dinner was included but you had to pay if you didn't want to sit in the ground and basically hurry to eat before the vans left. The BBQ offered 1 small meat medallion and one bone. I don't eat alot but even this portion of meat wasn't big enough for a child but you get about 2 cups of rice so you're not hungry. The live performances were ok, good for dinner entertainment. Tip if you go bring plenty of cash, everything is cheap but nothing is free.

Well, in a nutshell, you get exactly what you have been promised in the offer. The driver, Mr. Ahmed, was on time (14:00). He was friendly and often smiling. He came to our hotel in media city with a 4x4 land cruiser. The car was clean and looked almost new. We didn’t have to collect other people or so. I believe because we were already 5, but we have seen cars half empty during the safari. The first stop (20-30min) was a sort of highway relay. There you can buy scarfs (against the sand) or ride quads. Then we drove to the desert (in a convoy) and did sand bashing (awesome). Then, a stop for sand boarding and pictures, then sand bashing (a bit), then stop to see camels, then heading to the camp for the camels riding and the evening (great) until 20:00, (there was more than enough food and drinks) then back to the hotel. If you are looking for a “private” experience this not for you. In our case, we appreciated the interaction with the other tourists. Value for money is excellent. Recommended Clifton tours To All
