Amazing experience. From the trip from Adelaide to return it was such a professional service. All mobility and age groups catered for. We had perfect weather and met a lot of lovely people. The staff were well trained and enjoyed their positions. I cannot say thank you enough for your service. I did not realise the Murray was such a vibrant alive playground.

The tour was good but the cabin is so small and the beds are small and extremely uncomfortable. The worst bed I’ve slept in and I’ve been on holiday in 3rd world countries. Consider your tolerance for discomfort before booking. The crew and the food were excellent. The final morning was awful. They couldn’t wait to get rid of us. They packed our rooms before we even left the boat. Went to clean my teeth after breakfast and the towels and everything were stripped. All things considered the good parts of the tour outnumbered the bad but the discomfort of the cabins is significant and impacts the rest of the tour because I didn’t get enough sleep and my back was aching.

Initially on the wrong boat, wrong cabin, booked a balcony with a double bed, on the proud Mary. We got the murray princess, lower level, 2 single beds, smelt terrible. Complained and was told to complain to discovery australia. Looked at the paperwork and they had sent all info to the company with confirmation responses. We did get an upgrade, second floor, 2 single beds again, behind the wheel house, very very noisy, little sleep most nights, intermittent ac, and could hear staff conversations through the vent. Staff were friendly, but, couldn't serve correctly. At times served food to my partner across my meal, mixed up drinks, first night no serving gloves till mid way, served with a gloved finger on the food etc. Lack of entertainment, booring as but serene, slow paced. Some staff smelled of bo, or poorly dressed. No laundry or gym facilities due to a toilet issue a month prior. Other guests had toilet and ac issues form the first day. Advertised as 4 days 3 nights. Arrived first day around 4 pm boarding, departure was 9 am last day.i wouldn't call it 4 days.

The activities on this trip were hampered by poor, rainy weather. Despite this we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious & although the servings were small they suited this couple with small appetites. We enjoyed the ambience in the dining room. One disappointment was the poor state of the armrests on all of the armchairs in the lounges - these should have been replaced & look dirty. All staff were helpful & efficient.

It was very picturesque and relaxing. Friendly and helpful staff. Great food. The downside was the sewage smell permeating in cabin 47 Cadell deck when the A/C was operational. That aside I enjoyed the 3 nights on board.
