Caroline really brought to life the very interesting history of Victor Harbor on her well-paced and enjoyable walking tour. Asides from being geographically blessed, the town has evolved through hard work and determination and it’s so worthwhile taking the time to familiarise yourself with how it developed. We’d thoroughly recommend spending time with Caroline to get to know it! Her communication prior to the tour was also excellent.

Our guide was most certainly well organised and friendly but lacked confidence and skills in managing a tour group, I felt. It's quite a skillset that involves public speaking and an extensive knowledge of local facts and stories that need to be woven into an interesting narrative. I do realise everyone has a different style in taking tours but I'm sorry to say I was bored and felt I could have done just as well by wandering around hte town myself.

Marilyn was very knowledgeable and friendly. She worked hard to impart the historical significance of the area along with the more current trends. It was easy to see she is invested in the community and enjoys being here which are always helpful attitudes from local guide. Appreciated her time and efforts and would recommend

Caroline was a great guide. She had so many interesting stories of Victor Harbor’s past. I’ve been a frequent visitor to Victor Harbor for years, and I even worked there for a few months. Then I did the tour and discovered so much more, and now I have a better appreciation of how Victor Harbor became what it is today. I would highly recommend this walking tour.
