Overview

Join Adelaide’s only hop-on, hop-off Barossa Valley winery tour service departing from the Adelaide CBD. A comfortable bus collects from the Stamford Plaza Hotel (Adelaide CBD) at mid-morning, then once in the region, we follow a recurring timetable circuit that takes 50-60 minutes to complete, in which time we visit all 10-15 of the selected venues. We follow this same timetable each and every hour until it’s time to return to the city in the late afternoon (approx 5pm). Each circuit takes approx 60 minutes to complete, giving you plenty of time to sample that venue's offering. Along the way, you are free to hop-on or off at any of the selected stops on the timetable, so that in a full day tour you are likely to see up to 4 wineries of your choosing, at your own pace, and independently from the other groups on the bus. Return home to the city in the late afternoon, disembarking approx 5.30pm.

Barossa is a beautiful region, with historic villages, vineyards and farms dotting a patchwork vista. The scenery from within the cellar doors is as impressive as it is from the road, with tasting rooms steeped in history and atmopshere, or newly sited to make the most of stunning surrounds.

Experience the Barossa Valley as though you were driving yourself.

The trail features a variety of the region’s best offerings – whether it’s Maggie Beer’s must-visit shop, the wood fired pizzas and modern cuisine at Saltram, the bakeries, cheesemongers and cafes at Angaston and Tanunda, or the wonderful 'locavore' options at Charles Melton winery. Alternatively you could always bring a picnic and relax in the beautiful lush gardens of Yalumba.

From pickup to drop off the full day tour was well run and enjoyable. Everything had been thought of, so it was sit back, chat, admire the scenery and look forward to the next winery. Yvette was welcoming and helpful. We chose the prepaid and booked option so visited 4 wineries, 1 of which included lunch. Only suggestion I could think of would be the option of tea/coffee at the last stop off. Look forward to exploring other winery areas with this company.

We had a wonderful day on our Maclaren Vale trip. We let them pick the wineries, and they did not disappoint. The driver was great and always on time. He shared a lot of information about the area. We would definitely take another trip next time we are in Adelaide.
