Aarti is a Hindu way of worship of the deity. In this process the devotees and the priest firelights from the cotton wicks soaked in ghee (butter). Before the Idol they offer lights, flowers and incense. In this tour product we pick you in the evening for Aarti ceremony and later you are hosted for dinner at a local restaurant. Afterwards we drop you back to your hotel in Agra.
ItineraryThis is a typical itinerary for this productStop At: Shri Khatu Shyam Ji Temple, road, Jeoni Mandi, Civil Lines, Agra, Uttar Pradesh 282004, IndiaWe will pick you in the evening at 6 pm or the time decided at the time of booking and you will be driven close to Khatu Shyam temple which is close to the Yamuna River. Later our representative will take you to this temple to be a part of the ceremony. Khatu shyam is a legendary God whose real name is Barbarik and was the grandson of Bhima (one among five Pandavas) and Mata Ahilyavati. This demi god is very popular in Indian states of Rajasthan and Hariyana. It is considered that Lord Krishna blessed him with his name and thus he is bearing the name as Shyam. It is believed that those who worship Khatu shyam from the core of their hearts find an easy remedy from their deep rooted troubles. You first visit this famous temple and appreciate the art work and learn the ethos of Hindu culture. Later enjoy the Puja ceremony. After this ceremony we take you to the pre booked Indian local restaurant where you savour the delicacies. Later if you interested you can go on shopping spree and finally we drop you back to your hotel.Duration: 3 hours
