Overview

Jump on the boat and raft down the mountain river rapids. A lot of fun for the whole family is guaranteed as you swim in a group of 12 people. No experience needed. You will swim downstream on dinghies with an experienced instructor on a 8-miles (13km) distance overcoming numerous of cascades. Rafting is a sport that everyone should try once in their lifetime, so don't miss the chance to take on this adventure.

What Can You Expect?

Meet a driver at your hotel for 8:30am departure—see Important Info for details on pickup availability. Board a bus for the trip to Koprulu Kanyon, a 62-mile (100-km.) drive from Alanya.  

After reaching the rafting base, suit up with rafting equipment, including life jackets and helmets. Learn the basics of paddling from the rafting guides, then board dinghies and launch down the Koprulu River. 

Leave your electronics at home, as a professional photographer will be onsite to capture images of the day on the river (available for purchase). Following your time on the river, refuel with a well-earned lunch at an open air table, then begin the return trip to Alanya, where this tour concludes with drop-off at the original departure point.

Very well organised. Friendly yet professional staff. I would recommend everyone of all ages to try this because there isn’t a reason not to. Such a wonderful day had by all.

After I paid, they started changing conditions: instead of 8.00 pickup, they changed it to 7.40 and absolutely insisted on me waiting in front of the hotel at that time.... then were late 20 mins anyway, causing me to lose my hotel breakfast for nothing. The group was way too big, so most of the time was lost waiting for something. After arrival, they made us play stupid kindergarden games just to make pictures of us and sell them to us (I especially hated wading through ice-cold water, immersed in it up to my breasts). Confusing organisation, instructions shouted in different languages from different people from different directions. Unnecessary waiting, e.g. for people who paid for zipline, we had to wait for them to complete it. The rafting and the river were amazing, but this has nothing to do with this agency. I did this exact adventure one week earlier with another agency, and it was much much better.

It was a good decision to take such tour. Was picked up by a comfortable buss from the hotel I was. The buss driver picked some more participants on a way. A tour guide is so handsome, he explained some necessary things for us to know not only on the way in the buss, but also on a place, we were driven to. One definitely item, you have to have are swim based boots, as stones are slippery and may be sharp, training boots are ok also, but the sandals and pool slates are not. When we were on a place, short instructions were also given. There is a place to swim, few stops: first - for having a break, the payment is in the end point , after the lunch, second - for swimming and leisure. I was very glad to participate the raft, spent a great day. I highly recommend to use the opportunity to book that type of pleasure.

Great outdoors day! So much needed break from everyday hotel time. Everything was very well prepared, staff very friendly (greetings to our guide Ola 😉). I reccomend rafting with Metin to everyone.

Amazing value for money. 3 hours of white water rafting through some gorgeous scenery. They could have allowed us more time to take our own photos. They try to sell you some at the end with a dvd of your adventure we’re still in the 90s... COVID safe? No way but that wasn’t a concern for us. If you are at all concerned being in close contact with strangers during this time, this is not the option for you.
