This 4-hour excursion includes lunch or dinner at Haret Jdoudna, as well as round-trip transport from your Amman hotel in a private, climate-controlled vehicle with your own English-Speaking Driver who doubles up as your guide to avoid the hassle of taking a local taxi to the city of Madaba!

What Can You Expect?

Meet your private English – Speaking Driver at your Amman hotel for an afternoon or evening departure, then relax during the 33 KM (21-Miles) trip to the mosaic city of Madaba. Upon arrival in the historic city, you will be dropped at Haret Jdoudna restaurant, a 19th-century home with gorgeously restored rooms & floors—on cold evenings, there’s often a blazing fire in the restaurant’s hearth. Sit down to a hearty meal of Mezze, the restaurant's selection of small plates. The menu changes with season & availability, but Haret Jdoudna makes a wonderful version of makdous, pickled eggplant with garlic & walnuts, as well as crisply fried halloumi cheese, & a wide variety of fresh salads & starters. Followed with a variety of chicken & beef barbeque prepared for your taste with special Arab delicious spices. There’s also a craft, mosaic, & souvenir shop on site, & after your meal, you are free to browse before meeting the driver for the return trip to Amman, where this culinary excursion experience concludes. Abbiamo cenato nel cortile interno di questo ristorante posto in un antico palazzo. Ricca vegetazione con alberi e fiori, un giardino tipicamente arabo. Abbiamo gustato un antipasto a base di funghi al formaggio , pollo alle erbe e filetto di agnello serviti direttamente in tegame. Ottimo pane arabo appena sfornato al sesamo. La note dolente è il servizio. Presa una bottiglia di vino bianco giordano (23 jod ) che è stato aperto in maniera inadeguata da un maldestro giovane cameriere. I due camerieri anziani più esperti ci hanno praticamente ignorato occupandosi di altri tavoli. Cibo ottimo, ma definire questo locale uno dei migliori ristoranti giordani, mi sembra esagerato il servizio non è un particolare da poco. Spesa totale 51 jod ,

Fuimos un grupo de una trentena de personas y el trato fue rapido y amable. La comida consistio en un repertorio de platos diversos ( humus, aceitunas, garbanzo, pollo...) todo muy rico

Sosta a Madaba, dove si mangia? leggiamo le recensioni di questo ristorante, mha!! dopo tanti giorni trascorsi in Giordania eravamo un po' scettici di trovare un ristorante con tante belle recensioni, anche perche' arriviamo davanti al ristorante e troviamo un portone mezzo chiuso, poi, varcata la soglia trovammo, inizialmente: un giardino con tavoli apparecchiati, più giù diverse sale, tutte con giardino curato, entrammo nell'ultima sala e ad accoglierci c'era Aida, la proprietaria, sorridente e accogliente, ci fece accomodare e ci lasciò nelle mani di Rappei, il responsabile di sala, qui dopo vari antipasti, tutti gustosi e presentati alla perfezione, ci imbarcammo nei secondi di carne, e che dire?? un agnello gustoso, tenero, ben presentato, tanto da chiedere il bis; tutto accompagnato da un ottimo vino. Buono. Buono. Buono. Bravi. Cortesi. Puliti. Professionali...... da tornarci!
