A really disappointing experience. We had booked for the 3pm boat but it was very confusing where we needed to check in. We were told to check in 15 mins before. We headed down to where the boats loaded at 2:40 (in the pouring rain and cold with no shelter) and stood in a queue from 2:40 until 3.15pm as a tour group came and cut the queue, almost completely filling the 3pm boat. We had no communication from the staff as to what was happening or why we had to stand in the cold and rain for 35 minutes. Eventually we got on after a very disinterested member of staff scanned our tickets. There were headphones to pick up as you got on but nobody told us that. It was only as we sat down I realised other people were getting headphones so realised that’s what we were supposed to do. There was no live tour guide on board and the driver didn’t acknowledge us at all in any way. The commentary was telling us to look to the left when things were actually on the right. It also sometimes said generic things like “here you will see this building” without telling you which side the building was on or what it looked like. There was definitely two bits of commentary that were repeated twice. The commentary didn’t happen all the way round either and when it did it was very dull - my mum actually fell asleep during the tour! The tour did not last for an hour (thankfully in my case) and we were back on land 45 minutes later. As we got off the driver was also rude to somebody who obviously had mobility difficulties, although he did assist her to get off the boat when she asked. Such a disappointing tour. I would advise you to go with any of the other canal tour companies.

Not the experience we were after! We decided at the last minute to book an evening cruise as it was a beautiful mild night. When we got there the boat before us had just filled up. It had an open section at the back where people could sit and windows that opened. (The boat shown in their photos). When our boat arrived for our cruise it didn't have an open section at the back or windows that opened. The driver had to repeatedly yell at people who were trying to take photos of the sunset out of the open door at the back. Finally on the way back the driver opened part of roof for people in the front. We were really disappointed with this cruise. No fresh air or photos!

We had got a bad experience at the cruise they have first asked us to wait around 30 minutes even we had reached the spot on time and then they allow the other persons on the queue to go inside the boat which lead us to get the seats in the end where it was too cold and windy since that part of the boat was not covered fully.

Condensation on the window. Repeated commentary. No space, so had the whole journey backwards. Do not use this provider.
