Tulip farmer was concise and informative. It a nice place with good refreshments and shopping. Koekenhof was most amazing; but 3 + hours was a bit long. River cruise to see the countryside and windmills was low key, yet nice. The boat and refreshments were very good.
The excursion with Jay as the guide, exceeded my expectations. He was engaging, had a good sense of humor and taught you things in a fun way. He also stopped at a couple of tulip fields for photo opportunities. But I’m told and also have read on the reviews, that with this small tight knit company, Dutch Trips (that I booked through La Vacanza Travel) you can’t go wrong with any of their guides. Thanks so much Jay for going out of your way to give our car load of 7 an exceptional experience. The mini-van was clean and comfortable and we had ample time to explore Giethoorn on our own.
Unique & quaint village. Bus trip was 90 mins. Canal trip was excellent. Wish I could spend more time here. Good food at the Italian eatery . Plenty of time to wander about & find souvenirs. Would recommend
Giethoorn is a very beautiful place. Our guide Fernando was very friendly and knowledgeable about the place and Netherland in total. He called our small group "family" and we did feel like a family. I just wish that after an hour long boat tour we would have more time to ourselves for dinner and exploring and walking.
Abrahiim our tour guide was very entertaining snd informative. He’s a very good organizer! This location was very special. Stunning setting, very peaceful. The sun never came out and it still felt like a fairy tale!
