The most common theory on the origin of the name is as a derivation of the French word Jardin, meaning garden: most streets and canals in the Jordaan are named after trees and flowers. Due to lack of money, the church became increasingly decayed in the course of the 20th century. It is advertised as a luxury cruise with multiple sights. Crew was friendly but more interested in selling drinks. Very little narration, crowded seating, and hardly shown or cited anything of interest. Disappointing as past La Vacanza Travels were as expected.
