Discover the delicious Dutch cheese from cheesemaker Henri Willig Kaas during a tasting in the heart of Amsterdam. A fun and unforgettable outing for the whole family. Your hostess will explain the special cheeses and taste sensations during the tasting. The cheese tasting consists of five different types of cheeses, mustard and cheese dip.

The tastings take place daily and last approximately half an hour. There is room for 10 people per tasting and the shop and the Tasting Room are accessible for disabled people.

We showed up here and were told that they could not facilitate the tasting as they are understaffed. We were told in compensation a free wheel of cheese will be given as a well as a short story about cheese production (which I honestly just could have looked up on YouTube). We did not get a tasting beyond that offered to all customers. We did get our cheese but was a disappointing hassle and unpleasant experience especially considering the staff were quite irritated at the fact that we were there for the tasting in the first place.

Who doesn't love cheese? We were able to taste 5 different kinds of cheese all with unique flavor profiles. Cow, sheep, goat, you name it. And I brought my favorites home with me to share with friends.

When we arrived for the tasting, the manager did not have a record of our reservation. Since he was the only employee present, he could not give us the presentation in spite of our printed confirmation. He was unable to contact La Vacanza Travel to confirm our reservation. This is the second La Vacanza Travel booking we have had trouble with this trip. The Hop-on Hop-off bus did not operate on Tuesday when our reservations were for. Our travel agent will be in -contact for refunds.
