Overview

This is a seasonal tour which we only run in springtime, during March, April and the first weeks of May.
On this tour you'll experience the best Holland has to offer in spring: tulips, windmills and countryside. Join us on our wonderful tulip tour through the famous flower fields of Holland near Lisse and the Keukenhof.
We drive with a small van, so we can take you to the best viewpoints and places where the big tour busses can't come. The flower fields around Lisse and Hillegom bloom depending weather circumstances like temperature, rain and sunshine.
Of course we also visit the Keukenhof, the biggest flower garden in the world.
After this amazing flower experience we drive to the windmills of the Zaanse Schans. This is the best place in Holland to see old windmills.
On our way back to Amsterdam we stop at cheese farm Simonehoeve to taste cheese.
We’re flexible so we can adjust the tour to your wishes and lunch is not included but you can decide when and where you want to eat.

Stop At: Simonehoeve, Wagenweg 2, 1145 PW Katwoude The Netherlands

In this cheesefarm you can learn how cheese is made and hoe wooden shoes are produced.

Duration: 45 minutes

We can pick you up at any hotel, Airbnb address or location in Amsterdam and for a pick up (and/or return) at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport or Hotels nearby the airport we charge €30,- cash payment on the day itself. This because Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is about 20 kilometers from the city center so it’s taking us extra time and we pay 2 euros per liter gasoline.

The tour guide , Turn, was tremendous! He was very informative and knowledgeable in a very comfortable way. We enjoyed everything tremendously from the Tulips to the Windmills! Enjoyed lunch and Bittenballs to the Cheese. A wonderfull experience!

I always wanted to see the tulips and finally got my wish. I am so glad we took a private guided tour. Philip is such an excellent guide, with massive knowledge about the Keukenhof, the flowers and the windmills. He is so patient with our questions and even more patient with the questions thrown at him by my two kids. He answered them all gladly. We have learned a lot about the history of tulips and windmills, I highly recommend doing this.

What an experience! Teun picked us up at the lobby of our hotel, was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. As we drove to our four events (Tulips, lunch on the beach, windmills, cheese factory) he was always informing us of what was around, the history and more. Ended up being a little longer than the designated 8 hours but it was Good Friday. Never felt rushed and would recommend this over a bus tour. Having a private driver to take you straight to your destinations and straight to the entrances was well worth the price.

We had a fabulous day visiting Keukenhof, the windmills and a cheese museum with Teun. It was absolutely lovely and I would highly recommend his tour. He is knowledgeable and engaging. Our three teenagers love the day too!
