Good tour.spacious , clean car.good knowledgeable guide.Driver met precisely.places we visited were worthy to pay a visit.But,the temperature was 37+on that day.But,that's Turkiet.

We didn't get off the the best start. It took over 2 hours from when we were picked up to the time we got to the 1st location. I don't know who is to blame for this, but, if it is a usual problem perhaps the company should pick a central location rather then every hotel. Our 1st tour guide was awful, he treated the group like we were on a middle school outing rather then a group of 10 adults on vacation. He was so bad that multiple people from our group actual called the company. The bus pulled over on the side of a road and he said "I guess a few of you don't like me so this is where we part ways" he put on his baseball cap and walked away. About 10 minutes later another guide boarded the bus and we proceeded on our way. We were able to see a lot of historical sites. I wish more time was budgeted to spend in SIDE at it was our last stop. But again who knows with the 2 hours of pick up and our guide walking off maybe there should have been. The waterfall on this tour was not very impressive and could be taken off the trip again giving us more time to spend in the town of SIDE. I give this tour a 3 because I assume this was a one off.

The tour bus never arrived. I even confirmed with La Vacanza Travel the night before. I have had to go through La Vacanza Travel every step of the way, because even when I contacted Metin tours they never responded to me. Finally on the day the bus was supposed to arrive, and didn’t, I had to contact La Vacanza Travel again to get the tour operator to respond as to why the bus didn’t show. Their excuse was too many people had cancelled. Ok and so they just were not gonna let me know?! Metin tours finally contacted me and asked me to reschedule but since I’m leaving soon I couldn’t and why would I want to anyways if this is their customer service? I have done other tours through La Vacanza Travel that have been great, and La Vacanza Travels customer service has been great as well, so this isn’t a problem with La Vacanza Travel, just with this particular Metin tour company.

Tour was great. Lots of great history. Perge was amazing because you can see the layout of how the cities looked. Each site was really magical. The waterfall was beautiful and peaceful. Aspendos theater was magnificent and our guide told us about the layout and a story about the man who built it. We got some free time, about 15/20 mins to explore on our own. The aquaducts were grandiose and amazing architecture to see. Side was really cool to see a modern city atop the ancient one. They are excavating more and the have view platforms under your feet. Apollo's temple was looking over the water with athena's just to the right. Great tour if you love ancient history. Our guide was knowledgeable and kind. He answered a lot of my questions before I even had to ask. He also informed us of life today in Turkey which was really helpful. Being able to see so many sites in a day and getting in depth information was also really nice rather than just super basic information. The pickup and drop off were on time and the ride was really nice, comfortable and clean. There is some walking involved, which I loved. I recommend comfortable shoes and water. I highly recommend this tour.
