The Bombay Hills are a range of hills to the south of Auckland, New Zealand. Bombay Means: a breed of black short-haired medium-sized cat.

Day 2: Rotorua City Highlights & Hobbiton Movie Set Tour (Incl. BBQ Buffet Lunch)

This day we start our morning exploring the geothermal city highlights by visiting the stunning locations in the heart of Rotorua. Explore historic gardens that surround a Tudor-style spa bath house and an ornate Mediterranean-style public swimming pool. Peer through the steam into ancient bubbling geothermal pools.

Experience the world famous Hobbiton Movie Set where you'll see the intricately created 'Hobbit holes', the Green Dragon Inn, the Party Tree and so much more cinematic magic! Immerse yourself in the sights, smells, sounds and tastes of the Shire as featured in the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit trilogies followed by a delicious buffet lunch served inside the festive Party Marquee. Your meal is served in a buffet style from a specially themed table, bursting with hobbit fare, with shared table seating to dine family style with your group.
