Join us for a gentle walking tour around Auckland city in the afternoon taking in the sights, tastes and history of this multicultural and stunning city.

The tour includes a visit to one of the city’s finest purveyors of artisan products, sweet delights at a city highlight and world class ice cream. We conclude the tour relaxing with a local wine or beer sampling.

If you’ve had a jet set morning or arrived in the city first thing, the Auckland in the Afternoon tour is the perfect way to enjoy a few hours, relaxed and tasty!

You’ll be surprised at how much yumminess can be packed in between 2.30pm and 5.30pm.

Kath was an amazing tour guide!! She had a lot of local knowledge about the design of the city. I really loved the cheeseboard and gelato!

We try to do a walking food tour whenever we land in a new country. This tour did not disappoint. It was also filled with people who landed in Auckland that morning! Our guide took us through town, gave us suggestions for future dining, gave us some history and was a great assist as we organized ourselves to make the most of Auckland.

We had Kat for our guide and she made sure we had a great time helping us learn some of the history of Auckland and New Zealand and also pointed out great places to eat and drink at in Auckland in addition to taking us to 3 savoury and 2 sweet stops for tasting. It was a great tour to help us get oriented to Auckland and see and taste items that we wouldn't have found on our own very easily.

Our guide Jono was very passionate about food and knowledgeable about the city. Getting the history of the restaurants we were visiting really adds to the experience. Along the way Jono gave plenty of recommendations for other places to try while in the city. We stopped at one of the recommended places after for dinner , and it was spot on! A well paced end to our trip.

The Auckland Foody tour was good. The guide, Jono, was fun and lively. The best stop was at Rodd & Gunn, with the unique fish n chip, and the croquette, and the least favorite was the cheese crackers stop (which was a nice location but a "meh" food choice. The order of the tasting could be improved, however, as I wasn't a fan of eating gelato so early in the tour, and then having wine at next stop. (And wine wasn't good, either). Still a great way to see the city and enjoy bites of unique food.
