Karthik was an outstanding tour guide. Our number 1 priority was completing the Tongariro Alpine Crossing and Karthik (and some lucky weather) made certain we were able to do that! We talked to people who were unable to get onto a shuttle because the shuttles were booked or were told the crossing was closed and consequently, missed the hike. The day before and after the hike we’re also filled with exciting activities. Karthik was able to make suggestions based on our preferences. I wish we had hired Karthik for our entire trip!
