Visit a local market together with your local guide and start your tasting tour. This tour includes 10 food and drink tastings. Your local host has hand-picked each one of the tastings based on their love for food, and knowledge of the city. Enjoy only the most authentic bites the city has to offer!


Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Catur Muka Statue, Dangin Puri, Denpasar 80232 Indonesia

The statue of Catur Muka with four faces looking into North, South, East and West directions, was designed and carved by a famous sculptor based in Ubud and built in 1973. See it from the outside in between your food stops.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Kuta Puri Bungalows Spa, Jl. Pantai Kuta Poppies Lane, Kuta Indonesia

The Royal Palace was built in 1820, by one of descendents of Klungkung Royal Family and nowadays it is used for traditional ceremonies. We will visit it from the outside and share some local stories.

We had the most amazing food tour with Reza from withlocals. We started our tour in a local multilevel market where Raza was great at answering questions and suggesting snacks and fruits to try. From there we moved on to many more stops. He was very accommodating with us wanting to stop and look at everything around us or shop for treasures. Thank you Raya for a great experience!!

June Sophia is a pro and we had the best time on our food tour. We sampled so many delicious Balinese dishes and she went out of her way to personalize the tour for us to ensure we had the best experience. Walking around Denpasar we had the added bonus of touring some historical sites and the flower market. June Sophia was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and easy to talk to. The tour was not cheap but with all food included and the high level of professionalism and service would still highly recommend if you only have a short time in Bali and want to sample legit street food.

My husband and I didn't really know what to expect going into this food tour; only that we were excited to try some Balinese street food. We met Budi, our tour guide, and our nerves were instantly set at ease. He was kind, and funny, and let us know that our stomaches and tongues have differences, so if we don't like something we do not have to eat it. I was very relieved to hear this, because food is so personal and so cultural and I didn't want to be rude if something wasn't agreeing with me. He made sure that that wasn't the case, and there was zero pressure to try or finish a dish. Come with a hungry stomach and pace yourself! You're going to eat A LOT of food, and learn a lot about Bali cuisine. This type of food you won't find in any of the touristy areas, but after taking this tour we felt so much more confident in finding food carts and ordering for ourselves. The food is flavorful, spicy, cooked so well, and you'll try new things. Budi was an amazing guide, we felt so taken care of, he anticipated needs (more mineral water), talked to us about Bali and we got to walk around Depensar, seeing new parts of the city.
