Well worth the early wakeup! Driver Agus was punctual and super nice and our guide Kiki was awesome! Highly recommend, if you are lucky enough to get clear views it is pretty spectacular

We got picked up from the hotel in Ubud at 2.30, which all ran very smoothly. We met our guide (Putu) at the meet point and he was very friendly. We got given waters and there was an offer of tea or coffee before setting off. Putu was so helpful and put our mind at ease throughout the whole treck. On arrival at the summit, Putu made us some breakfast and showed off his impressive photography skills. The treck itself was trickier than expected as it really is a sharp incline but if you are moderately fit then you will be absolutely fine. The view from the top is certainly worth it! Thank you for helping us to experience this view in person!

I went with my friend and though it was cloudy/foggy and we missed the sunrise (I recommend not going on a hot day after the rain), we saw great views on the way down and the steam from the valcano was really cool. Our guide Putu was so kind and friendly and took many pictures for us, and shared about the mountain and culture. We also got a hot drink when we arrived at our starting point and some sweet crackers which was so nice. Wira, our driver was very friendly and we got to know him as we drove around in the day. We felt very safe with them both. The coffee plantation was better than we excpected and we would definitely recommend not skipping it. We were short on time as we needed to check out and Wira helped make sure everything worked out and we were on time. Thanks Putu and Wira for a fantastic day!

This was an amazing tour onto Mt Batur! We didn't want to do the early sunrise hike, so we asked if we can do the tour at mid-day. They said it's no problem. The driver picked us up from our hotel at 8:30 am. We drove up the mountainside for 2h. Took a quick stop on the viewing platform of the outer caldera to take some pictures. Then we went down to the village inside the caldera. From there, we did the hike up onto the inner crater. We had a young girl from a local village as our hiking guide. She told us a lot about the life on the volcano. It was very interesting. Both the driver and the guide spoke great English. They were both super friendly and helpful. On top of the mountain, we cooked some eggs on the hot steam of the active volcano, had some other snacks and enjoyed the views. After that, we hiked back down. Walking through the village on the bottom is also interesting, because you can see how they grow spring onions, chilies and other vegetables. All in all, this was a fascinating experience! Would highly recommend!
