We went as a couple and had a great time. Both our driver, Mangun, and our guide Katut were exceptional. Highly recommend to those looking for a solid hike up the volcano. The after hike hot springs and massage are a great addition and really help to relax after the active morning.

Tour guide was amazing and great trip, volcano was one of the highlights of my entire life, absolutely loved it. Hot springs didn't seem that natural and the massage was terrible, but the volcano was so great it didn't even matter.
