Overview

This night tour won the TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Award and for good reason. Exploring at night and by the iconic tuk tuk is a great way to discover Bangkok and the local culture.

Explore Bangkok by tuk tuk passing many of the iconic sites as you tour at night. This 4-hour tour loops along the Chao Phraya River, stopping at several temples and markets. See temples such as Wat Pho illuminated at night, enjoy dinner and a dessert at a mystery stop!

This is considered a cultural tour with food, and it provides a great introduction to Bangkok and the local culture. However, it should not be considered an in-depth food tour.

This tour is limited to 12 people, ensuring an informative experience with a small group

Highlights

  • All taxes, fuel surcharges and service fees included
  • Free snacks included
  • Great overview and orientation of the city
  • Perfect introduction for first-time visitors
  • Pickup from a centrally located meeting point
  • Informative, friendly and professional guide

After meeting your guide and small group at a central location in Bangkok, hop aboard your tuk-tuk, a fun and commonly used open-air vehicle that easily accommodates two passengers. Your tour takes place after the temperature drops, bypassing heavily trafficked routes as you drive to locations most frequented during the daytime. You will hop on and off the tuk tuk as we explore the city with your guide.

Your guide provides an overview of Thailand’s capital and insights into local life as you take in the beauty of Bangkok by night and explore markets, temples and its food. Stop at famous temples such as Wat Pho to admire its golden pagodas lit up at night, and walk through the famous 24-hour flower market, where vivid colors are in full bloom under the fluorescent lights.

At nightfall, Bangkok comes alive with food vendors, and you’ll stop to sample some of the best food in the city before finishing with a delicious dessert in a mystery stop. Your tuk-tuk tour ends near the Flower Market, and there’s still time to check out the tireless city’s nightlife on your own.

Very interesting visit, which has allowed us to discover and visit many places we should'nt have gone alone. Particular mention to our very professional guide and many thanks to our Tuk Tuk driver.

I was travelling solo and arrived at the meeting point way too early so the guides were kind enough to let me join the earlier group, which consisted of 3 tuk tuks. I was lucky enough to travel with the guide. The night, the driver's, our guide and the others in the group were so much fun. It was such an awesome way to see and experience Bangkok. Loved whizzing around the city at night, the food and learning about the temples, markets and places we went. Highly recommend.

Lots of fun, missed the day time crowds in the cooler evening. Combination of food experiences, seeing the main tourist sites all with a knowledgeable, experienced and humorous guide (Tony). You can gauge from the tour which sites you might want to visit in the daytime to get internal access.
