We didn't have difficulties to find the cruise, and the views of the Chaophraya River were beautiful. The English announcements pointed out important vistas, but didn't supply context or explanations. We were seated at the far end of the cruise, away from the dancers and entertainment which we could not see. We were also sat right at the buffet with people continously walking past us. As so often happens with buffets people were quite greedy and stacked their plates quickly, so that some choices had gone before we even managed to look at all the food. The food itself was very average and we suspect it gave us a stomach bug as we struggled with frequent toilet rushes for the rest of the week. They were also playing very loud music on a speaker right by our table, and singing over it. The singing was fun and the singers clearly enjoyed it, but it did get a bit much near the end. Despite all this, it was a nice experience to go up and down the river through Bangkok and see the city by night from it. The cocktails tasted nice and weren't too overpriced. The highlight was the cruise turning around under the Rama VIII suspension bridge, which gave great opportunity for some beautiful photos.
