Overview

An energetic journey to Western Thailand. While most tourists travel to floating & railway market, you can travel further than them! Spend your endless energy by traveling to Erawan waterfall and River Kwai Bridge with us. In the morning, you will enjoy a fun boat ride to explore the Damnoen Saduak floating market, get on a train ride and watch the lively chaotic moment as the train approaches the Railway market, observe how coconut nectar is produced at a coconut sugar farm, and visit a salt farm and learn its production process.

In the afternoon, you will be refueled with yummy lunch, hike to Erawan Waterfall, swim in its emerald green ponds, and explore the tropical rainforest for full 3 hours. The waterfall has 7 tiers; you can test your endurance here! After hiking at the waterfall, you will have a comfortable walk at the Death Railway and River Kwai Bridge, where you will savor the beautiful scenery of river bank and took a lot of sunset photos.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, Damnoun Saduak, Ratchaiburi, Damnoen Saduak 70130 Thailand

The Floating Market of Damnoen Saduak is among one of the most attractive floating markets in Thailand. Motor boat rides are already included in your tour! Many Thai and foreign tourists come here to absorb the atmosphere of Thailand water markets that have been like this for over a 100 years. At this floating market, you can try a number of delicious Thai fruits and foods such as sweet mango on sticky rice, freshly-made coconut icecream, and Thai-style boat noodle.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Maeklong Railway Market (Talad Rom Hub), Si Champa Alley, Mae Klong 75000 Thailand

The Railway Market is humorously called as the “life-risking” market! You will have fun riding a local train toward the Mae Klong station. While on this train, you will see the “Unseen-Thailand” experience. When the train signal rings up, the chaos will happen! Vendors will rush to detract their stall and clear away all goods that obstructs the running train at a great speed. Once the train passes, all shop owners will resume their stalls again.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Coconut Sugar Farm, 296 Dumnoen Saduak Tambon Damnoen Saduak, Damnoen Saduak Thailand

Visit a coconut sugar farm near Damnoen Saduak floating market. At this factory, you will learn how Thai farmers produce coconut nectar. You will see a demonstration of coconut flower cutting, pouring the nectar into a bamboo container, putting preservation woods in the container, boiling up and pasteurizing the nectar into the drinkable one. This will be your eye-opening experience!

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Samut Sakhon, Samut Sakhon, Samut Sakhon Province

The whitish salt field, not a rice field, of course. A special bonus tour for our guests who join our floating and railway market tour in 2020. This sea salt is produced by Thai local wisdom. The salt farmer will rotate the sea water in different levels matching the strength of wind and sunlight. The rotation will continue until the salt becomes a “salt mountain” which are ready for cooking, skincare, and agriculture. On the Highway 35 in Samut Sakhorn province, our guide will lead you to rub the salt to your hand and take amazing photos!

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Erawan Waterfalls, Moo 4 Tha Kradan, Erawan National Park 71250 Thailand

Erawan Waterfall is recognized as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand. The major attraction of the park is the 7-tiered Erawan Falls with emerald green ponds. Erawan has seven separate tiers spanning approximately 1,500 meters through the thick rainforest of the park. The park are named after "Erawan", the three-headed white elephant of Hindu mythology. The top tier of the falls is said to resemble an elephant head. Admission fee for foreigners are included in your tour.

Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: River Kwai Bridge, Maenam Kwai Road, Tha Makham 71000 Thailand

Thanks to several films and books, the Bridge over the River Kwai has become famous and attracted both Thais and foreigners to the site. If an ordinary black iron bridge can tell a story, you can be sure it's a dramatic one. The bridge has steel plates over the ties to make it easy to walk over the span. There are also viewing platforms between the trestles to give you a view of the river as well as to give you a place to get out of the way if you're on the bridge when a train comes. You will have a delicious lunch at a raft restaurant near the River Kwai Bridge.

Lin's tour was simply phenomenal! From the scenic train ride to the bustling train market, every moment was filled with excitement and wonder. Their expertise and friendliness made the experience even more enjoyable. The coconut farm visit was refreshing and educational, while the boat ride through the floating market was a feast for the senses. Lin's attention to detail, ample water supply, and fantastic recommendations for exploring Thailand made the tour truly unforgettable. Highly recommended!

We had the best time on our private tour with Lin! She was great at communicating about the logistics of the tour before hand and during. She was so knowledgeable and experienced (32 years as a guide!). She’s also a great photographer, and made sure we got the best photos! The tour itself was phenomenal. Well thought out and planned. Highly recommend Lin as your guide for tours in Bangkok!

We did this tour for our large family of 9 today, and it was great! Lin was our tour guide - she was very friendly and knowledgeable, and most of all, considerate of one of our family who couldn't walk very far. She helped take amazing photos and videos and organised the large group well. I would highly recommend this private tour!
