Pass By: Tha Tian Market, PFWR+C85, Maha Rat Road, Khwaeng Phra Borom Maha Ratchawang, Khet Phra Nakhon, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10200, Thailand

Ta Tian Market is an immense fresh market place located by the riverside, opposite the white walls of Wat Pho. The market itself is easily missed by most visitors who often take a break at one of the charming little cafes under the arches of the Sino-Portuguese façades, and not many actually spot the small entrance right in the middle of this U-shaped heritage style building. This discreet door opens onto a short tunnel and beyond it, only the curious traveller would discover a gigantic and busy market sheltered under a very high ceiling. The place is more of a basic warehouse than a market, selling a huge array of dried sea products displayed in large sacks, wholesale cooking ingredients and all kinds of fresh products ranging from well known veggies to totally alien looking ingredients.

We had a very intetesting tour. Our guide, Eddie, was very knowledgeable. He not only had extensive knowledge of the temples themselves but also pointed out places of interest during our trip to and from the temples. Even our transport was first class.

Our tour guide, Marie was very pleasant and knowledgeable and shared her extensive knowledge. She made the tour interesting. It was also nice to be picked up at our hotel in an air-conditioned van.

What a wonderful way to tour the Palace and Buddha. Our guide was quite friendly and knowledgable. She provided hotel pick up which was most welcome. The crowds were large and there were many structures to see so it was nice to have private narrative and someone to help make the most of our visit. We were glad we booked this tour and would recommend.

The whole family really enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide Nok was very informative and funny. The place and its grounds are beautiful. She also took some beautiful photos for us at the palace. We were considering doing these attractions on our own but so glad we booked through iAsia Thailand.
