Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, Damnoun Saduak, Ratchaiburi, Damnoen Saduak 70130 Thailand

The Floating Market of Damnoen Saduak is among one of the most attractive floating markets in Thailand. Motor boat rides are already included in your tour! Many Thai and foreign tourists come here to absorb the atmosphere of Thailand water markets that have been like this for over a 100 years. At this floating market, you can try a number of delicious Thai fruits and foods such as sweet mango on sticky rice, freshly-made coconut icecream, and Thai-style boat noodle.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Maeklong Railway Market (Talad Rom Hub), Si Champa Alley, Mae Klong 75000 Thailand

The Railway Market is humorously called as the “life-risking” market! You will have fun riding a local train toward the Mae Klong station. While on this train, you will see the “Unseen-Thailand” experience. When the train signal rings up, the chaos will happen! Vendors will rush to detract their stall and clear away all goods that obstructs the running train at a great speed. Once the train passes, all shop owners will resume their stalls again.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Coconut Sugar Farm, 296 Dumnoen Saduak Tambon Damnoen Saduak, Damnoen Saduak Thailand

Visit a coconut sugar farm near Damnoen Saduak floating market. At this factory, you will learn how Thai farmers produce coconut nectar. You will see a demonstration of coconut flower cutting, pouring the nectar into a bamboo container, putting preservation woods in the container, boiling up and pasteurizing the nectar into the drinkable one. This will be your eye-opening experience!

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Samut Sakhon, Samut Sakhon, Samut Sakhon Province

The whitish salt field, not a rice field, of course. A special bonus tour for our guests who join our floating and railway market tour in 2020. This sea salt is produced by Thai local wisdom. The salt farmer will rotate the sea water in different levels matching the strength of wind and sunlight. The rotation will continue until the salt becomes a “salt mountain” which are ready for cooking, skincare, and agriculture. On the Highway 35 in Samut Sakhorn province, our guide will lead you to rub the salt to your hand and take amazing photos!

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Erawan Waterfalls, Moo 4 Tha Kradan, Erawan National Park 71250 Thailand

Erawan Waterfall is recognized as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand. The major attraction of the park is the 7-tiered Erawan Falls with emerald green ponds. Erawan has seven separate tiers spanning approximately 1,500 meters through the thick rainforest of the park. The park are named after "Erawan", the three-headed white elephant of Hindu mythology. The top tier of the falls is said to resemble an elephant head. Admission fee for foreigners are included in your tour.

Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: River Kwai Bridge, Maenam Kwai Road, Tha Makham 71000 Thailand

Thanks to several films and books, the Bridge over the River Kwai has become famous and attracted both Thais and foreigners to the site. If an ordinary black iron bridge can tell a story, you can be sure it's a dramatic one. The bridge has steel plates over the ties to make it easy to walk over the span. There are also viewing platforms between the trestles to give you a view of the river as well as to give you a place to get out of the way if you're on the bridge when a train comes. You will have a delicious lunch at a raft restaurant near the River Kwai Bridge.

We had a wonderful time. Our guide was Lin and she gave us a lot of background on each place we visited. Our first stop was the train market which was very unique and is a must see. The vendors have their stalls right next to the tracks. The second stop was the coconut farm where we saw them produce various coconut products like sugar, snacks etc. We also had fresh coconut water. Our last stop was the floating market. Besides just the market, you also went through the canals to see how people live which is very interesting.

The railway market is a must go attraction and floating market gives you an insight of how trade was done in the past and still continues till today buying meals off the boat and shopping for gifts. Private tour is definitely better because it’s personalized service and Lin was very helpful throughout and took nice photos of all of us. Highly recommended to take this tour to see another side of Bangkok.

Our market tour guide was Jaimmy and we also had a driver. We were able to customize our tour and I asked that we only go to the floating market and railway market because we were on a tight return schedule to the cruise port. They picked us up from our hotel on time and as we were driving, Jaimmy gave us a bunch of historical facts about the country which made the drive interesting. Once we got to the railway market, Jaimmy stood in line for us so we could get the best seats on the train. Once we were on the train and going through the market, she took a bunch of photos and videos for us as well and sent them via WhatsApp. Once we got off the train, we went through the market and she helped us find exactly what we were looking for. After we left the railway market, we went to the floating market and she did the same thing there. As we left, she was communicating with our Celebrity cruise ship contact to notify her of our whereabouts. They were able to get us back earlier than expected. Out of all of the excursions we did on the cruise, this was probably my favorite. I love souvenir shopping and it was really neat to see these spots in person, after I’ve watched them on Instagram for the last few months. Jaimmy and the driver did an outstanding job! I’m very thankful that we had both of them as our tour guides. I highly recommend this tour and Jaimmy!

Lin was a wonderful guide! She knew all the locals and exactly where to go to give us the best experience and of course, the most amazing pictures. She was not only a knowledgeable tour guide but also an excellent photographer. This was the by far the best tour that I found… it included everything from the train ride to the long tail boat ride. From the moment she showed up (very punctual, by the way), she took care of us the entire time. I would definitely recommend her!
