This tour combines 2 favorite things to do in Thonburi: food and canal cruise on a long-tail boat. Take a culinary journey through Thonburi's best food neighborhoods and markets. Savor on a variety of tasty dishes and snacks like Steamed Leek Stuffed Dough, Kway Chap, traditional Thai sweets, and sample different kinds of food from street carts. Walking through the wet markets, you'll experience local ways of life unaffected by tourists' presence and hear our guide's perspectives and stories on Bangkok insights.

At one point, we'll board on a long-tail boat to cruise zigzagging canals along which we'll stop for more food. During the boat ride, you'll see old wooden houses and perhaps monitor lizards a size of a baby crocodile! We'll also explore ancient temples and Artist's House, a rustic art gallery/coffee shop sitting on a canal with an over 200-year pagoda inside. Spend quality 5 hours with us. Our private tour with May was fantastic. She really showed us some hidden food treasures interwoven with a peak into Thai life. She flexed to our needs when she heard we’d already tried a couple of dishes and accommodated our teens lower spice tolerances. Highly recommend this tour.

Unique tour through the village, canals and markets of Thonburi with May, our tour guide. Had food we've never tasted before despite coming to Bangkok many times. Learnt some history of the temples. Fed the catfishes. Steady boat ride. What a lovely day!

Preme was the perfect guide even forgiving me when we went to the wrong train station, warning easily done! Started with the best dish of the day, beef noodle soup mmm, ending with a spicy pork soup and everything in between. Preme was perfect company and patiently answered all our questions. If you are in Bangkok then this tour should be a must.

What an amazing time we had with our guide Preme! We tried so many delicious dishes at wonderful little restaurants that we would never have found without her! Stops at local markets were a bonus, and we were so happy to learn that our long tail boat ride included an amazing view of the Golden Buddha at Wat Pak Nam Temple. Preme is friendly, knowledge and such a pleasant person to hang out with. Her English is excellent and we truly enjoyed getting to know her. Thank you Preme! Highly recommend.
