Have you ever been on snowshoes before? This is a very unique experience, giving you the opportunity to access the winter mountain and the beauty of Pirin National Park. What to expect? Magical hike on snowshoes in the wild nature. Fascinating landscapes, wonderful panoramas, epic adventure, a great fun not to be missed.

Stop At: Dobrinishte, Dobrinishte, Blagoevgrad Province

On the way back we will stop in one of the best Bulgarian SPA resorts - Dobriniste, where we will relax in the naturally heated mineral pools. Such a great end of our epic adventure. Then we go back fully relaxed and energized.

Dobrin took us on an incredible snow shoeing adventure in the mountains near Bansko. Every minute of it was magical, and Dobrin is a wonderful guide with lots of knowledge about the wildlife and local geology. His carefully planned itinerary, expert knowledge and warm company made it a really memorable day- thank you Dobrin!

I wanted to do a great hike in the mountains whilst the rest of my family were skiing as I don’t ski - this was a fantastic tour - my guide Mitko was great, so friendly, tailored the walk exactly to my level and ensured I was ok at all times. Only disappointment was when we reached the hut at the top of the mountain there was no one there so no hot drinks/soup - tbf you are asked to bring snacks etc which I had done so I didn’t go hungry! The scenery is stunning and you really can’t take a bad picture! I would definitely recommend this tour and if we came back to Bansko I would book it again!

We did a three days snowshoeing with Wolfgang staying two nights in a hut. We really enjoyed it. The guide was very knowledgeable about the mountains and the history. He is a wonderful guide always providing real good guidance and advice making difficult paths easy to handle. He is very flexible and adapted well the programme based on snow conditions and wishes. Great focus on security which makes you feel really in good hands. Thanks a lot for organizing it!

We had a great snowshoeing experience at Bansko. Wolfgang was the perfect guide, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Bulgaria and the mountains we were hiking. He was in touch with us a day before the activity and communicating the plans for the day. He was adaptive to our last minute plan changes, picked us from a different place than was originally agreed. We drove to a small village just outside Bansko, hiked for about 3 hours. He was wary of our abilities and kept a check all along the hike. Wolfgang was also kind enough to provide us information about other places around Bansko. We highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to get out of the hustle and bustle of skiing crowds at Bansko. The level of hiking can be agreed beforehand so that you are not doing too little or too much.
