Well curated museum with several interactive exhibits. If you have a window of 1-2 hours to fill, this has you covered. The rooftop cafe/bar offers wonderful views.

The museum is well done and interesting. The audio tour was just detailed enough but not too long. The skip the line was seamless

Very interesting museum covering the history of Catalunya from Palaeolithic times to now. Some sections were better than others but the central theme of Catalunya’s quest for independence runs throughout all the sections. Coverage of the civil war and its aftermath was very disappointing given the enormity of the war and the importance of Catalunya in the war. Even so, we spent hours there and ended up rushing through the final sections. The roof top garden bar is a fantastic way to end the day with a vermouth or two, watching the sunset over a harbour full of billionaire yachts, a far cry from Barceloneta’s modest beginnings
