Ilona was very knowledge and incredibly kind. She made sure to move us along so that we could see as much of the beautiful city of Girona as possible, but gave us time to view sites at our own pace. Could not have been more pleased with our tour.

Seb was amazingly communicative before the day of our tour, so that it was clear what the day would be like, and what the timing would be because I had to catch a plane later that day. He picked me up from my hotel and we headed north. The ride was very comfortable and pleasant, and Seb and I chatted about all kinds of things. Once in Girona, Seb provided a nice background and history of the area, and we walked the entire city, from the wall surrounding the city (you walk ON the wall) to the Jewish quarter, to the cathedral, etc. I had never been to Girona and Seb was the perfect guide to introduce me to the city and to spend the day with. Seb is very flexible and accommodating, and just a really nice guy.

We were looking for excursions outside of Barcelona. Girona interested us for its ties to Game of Thrones and the medieval walled city/old town. Our college-aged daughters, my husband, and I all loved exploring the city wall, churches, and Arab baths. Overall we walked 3+ miles--arriving at rail station, tour of city, and back to rail. Very picturesque Old Town. Favorite snacks in Girona included xuixos (Catalan treat) and a stop at Rocambolesc Gelateria. Our personal schedule only allowed for a half day trip, but would recommend staying longer to enjoy classic Catalan gastronomy. Very efficient high speed rail from Barcelona to Girona.

My wife and I booked Ilona for a tour of the beautiful Medieval city of Girona, Spain. We met her at the train station in Barcelona at a pre-determined spot and time and she was right on time. She handled all the rail travel details and we had great conversation on the way to Girona. We walked the wall built by Romans and toured the Jewish Quarter along with a visit to the Museum of Jewish History. We visited the Girona Cathedral and Ilona made sure we had a great restaurant to take a lunch break and experience some delicious local cuisine and wine. Ilona has great knowledge and speaks perfect English. We highly recommend a tour with Ilona! Thanks Ilona, we really enjoyed a fantastic day with you as our tour guide!!!!

Maria was originally supposed to help us with a day trip to Girona but we had to change plans because of protests in Girona. To help us salvage the day, Maria suggested a day trip to Montserrat instead although she was not that familiar with the details. As it turned out, Maria did a great job for our Montserrat day trip and shows her dedication to be a quality tour guide. Thanks Maria. Tour taken in October 2019
