Escape from the city of Barcelona for a while and discover the charm of the mountain while you visit the wonderful Monastery of Montserrat, Basilica, Atrium and chapels of more than 1000 years old. Enjoy a soft hike with no difficulty (please note that even though the hike included in this tour is easy, is not recommended for individuals who have difficulty walking).

Stop At: Funicular de Sant Joan, Pl. Espanya station lobby Operates in the area around Mare de Déu de Montserrat abbey. From the abbey esplanade, the Sant Joan railway connects with the highest part of the mountain, 08691 Montserrat Spain

Take the funicular (cable car) to the most breathtaking viewpoint of the mountain of Montserrat and enjoy the fantastic views. Discover Montserrat from a different perspective.

Our tour guide was the nicest. He was filled with information not only about the church but even the flora and fauna along the hike and the surrounding area. Truly a great day and tour.

A really good tour, our guide Jaume was informative and helpful, he drove well and took us on an excellent hike down the mountain after the spectacular funicular trip. The monastery is an interesting place to visit with wonderful views. The cafes nearby are good, and altogether a very good experience.

David was a superb guide. His passion and knowledge for his home area, plants, history, geology etc made this experience one of our greatest days in Barcelona. It was a nice contrast from city life to see the nature and beauty and views. The intimacy of the tour being a small group makes it feel like being shown around by a friend!
