Monserrat was wonderful. Laura excellent. Food despicable. I may never eat duck again. Meal ice cold and why such a controversial itemlike duck? At least 5 people near me hated the meal and didn’t eat. Also, meal not in restaurant as brochure stated but in room in winery. I did like duck but this was beyond edible. Based on the meal I would have to warn anyone I knew who was planning on booking with you.

Well organized tour. Leaves from Placa Catalunya, which is very convenient if your hotel is in the Old town of Barcelona. Views on this tour are spectacular, great meal and wine. Tour guide Sergio was super nice

Our tour guide, Nick, was so funny and personable. He was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. He gave us detailed history about the Abby and options for using our free time and guidance for budgeting our time so that we could see and explore in time to reconvene without missing anything. His tips were spot on. We were able to see the choir sing which was heavenly 😁. My husband and I explored the museum and found the amount of artwork astonishing in such a small museum. The art was beautifully arranged and the presentation was perfect. The Abby was phenomenal. The scenery spectacular and the history about the Abby and the region were enlightening. The next part of the tour was a wine tasting that included lunch at Oller del Mas. We had duck, potatoes, salad, bread, wine, dessert and port. Delicious lunch with our guide Nick. Lunch was served in a small barn venue with linen tablecloths and a simple but elegant set table. We had a choice of white or red from the winery and there was no problem serving a gluten free meal to one of our group. After lunch we walked over to the vineyards where once again Nick was well informed about the soil, the type of grapes grown in this vineyard and the ones grown In the next valley over and a little history on the grapevine catastrophe the hit all of Europe a long time ago. We toured the inside of the production rooms and learned about the process of making wine then onto a private room for our tasting. We had a two groups an 8 person group all friends and a small group of 3 joined us it was the perfect size group. once again nick proved to be very knowledgeable about wine itself. Overall, this was one of the best tours we did on our 18 day tour of Italy, Greece, Monaco, France and Spain. I highly recommend this tour.

First I want to say thank you to Dani! He is an amazing guide and very knowledgeable! Honestly this was one of the best tours we had in Barcelona. We were asked to meet by the Hard Rock Cafe, the bus was ready to go upon arrival, the guides extremely organized. Upon our arrival at Montserrat our guide explained everything in detail, we had some free time, after we had an amazing lunch with the group. We had tapas and wine. Not just any meal, food kept coming and coming! It was delicious. A real culinary experience! After lunch we stopped at a winery in the Can Bonastre region. We did some wine tasting, learned about their process and enjoyed the beautiful views! This is a must if you go to Barcelona.

Every part of this tour was excellent. Our tour guide Clara was awesome, she asked us how we would like to use our time in Montserrat, Once we finished the church we had plenty of time to hike to the cross and walk around town. Dinner was a short bus ride away at a winery, dinner was excellent, and not rushed. The wine tasting at the end was fun. Luis and Clara were excellent guides. I recommend this 100%.
