Enjoy this 10-hours intimate experience. Set out from Barcelona to discover the Natural Park of Montserrat, one of the most important landmarks of the region. Enjoy the famous Spanish cuisine and visit a boutique winery, where you will enjoy château wine!

Chatter, rejoicing and laughter around the table, enlivened by the delight of discovering culture through food and wine. All of it echoes in your mind while you walk through the woods, after a fabulous Spanish lunch. It smells of wild rosemary and pine trees. Of thyme and lavender. Mediterranean scents walk along with you as you take a comforting stroll in the forest. At the end of it, trees allow a long waited sight. After having explored the depths of Montserrat Monastery history and legends, after having been marveled at its stunning views and landscape, a new one now opens up now before you. Your stomach is full of joy, but you are ready for more. You are ready to cross the gates of a 10th Century castle and learn the new stories that lie in the huge estate that surrounds it. With a glass of wine in your hand, and Montserrat Massif presiding the scene, now it’s time to be inspired by tradition, by the determination of many generations that have shaped the country. From the buds of its vines, wine drips into your glass as culminating a memorable day.

Beautiful! The monastery and area at the top of Montserrat is just great. It was a little bit foggy below us when we got there, but it cleared up and the views were just amazing. Our guide had a lot of things to tell us, and she did her best as there was a loud helicopter nearby working on construction. We got free time at the top to explore whatever we wanted, and there were a few different options. We got to see the Boys' Choir perform and their voices were angelic. We then left for lunch, which was absolutely delicious. And the wine tasting was relaxing and also delicious. Overall a great day trip to do while staying in Barcelona.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour.

The first half of the day is spent at Montserrat monetary, initially we were given a thorough history of its origins and then given free to time to wander the grounds. We also elected to take the cable car (cost of 14 Euros) to the top of the mountain and utilize some of the hiking trails.

The second part of the day included lunch (2pm or so) followed by wine tasting.

We very much enjoyed they day we found all staff to be professional, knowledgeable and courteous at all times (our guide was Max). The groups as limited to 16 or under - our group had 12. I would have no hesitation in recommending this tour. Probably not suitable for kids.

Max was a wonderful tour guide. Montserrat is a beautiful place and a must see on a trip to Barcelona. The highlight of our tour was the winery.
