Ebikes are very easy, and really fun. We could do distances and elevations that would be a challenge on bikes. For this extensive introduction to Barcelona, they were perfect. Great itinerary! Olga, our fun Russian guide did a great job presenting Barcelona to us. It didn’t start out as a private trip, we simply got lucky. Highly recommend this trip.

This was a great way to spend my first day in Barcelona. Besides that Olga was very knowledgeable and friendly it helped me to get a lot of informationabout the city and the lay of the land. It started to downpour at the end of the trip and she was happy to continue on. Service with a smile! I’ve never been a tour person but she made it fun. She tapers the ride to your preference so it’s perfect.

I'm a big researcher before purchases and couldn't find a bike tour that was what we wanted and was leery about being in too large of a group and being unable to hear what the guide had to say or getting lost in a long line of tour participants so I decided to spend the extra money and book this tour and I'm so glad I did! For one, there was no worrying about making it to the meeting point on time and being left behind, so less stress right from the beginnng. We arrived right on time and Olga was waiting for us with a big smile on her face. She escorted us on a quick walk back to the bikes and gave us a short tutorial. We are a family of 4 with kids ages 17 and 20 and we all ride bikes a bit in the summer but not regularly. The ebikes were very easy to figure out and we just switched the motor off when we first started the tour bc it's tricky to navigate through the crowds in the old part of Barcelona. We rode either on the sidewalk area or in the special bike lanes so my concerns about riding along next to cars/scooters was unfounded. The ebikes made it possible to go wherever we wanted without being hot or fatigued and the tour being private meant we could stop where we wanted, take a break for water when we wanted, have Olga's full attention, etc. We were able to see so much of Barcelona (old town, Montjuic, Olympic stadium area, beach) and Olga was always checking to make sure we were happy, following safety procedures (such as keeping our brakes on while descending Montjuic) and she was always full of interesting information. Def wear sunscreen and stop for some bottled water along the way. We did the 10 AM tour on a Friday and it was a great way to start our vacation in Barcelona! Thanks, Olga!!!
