This private transfer was simply a taxi cab that was sitting outside my hotel. Taxis are plentiful in Barcelona and I was charged 3 times what it would cost to just grab a cab at my hotel. I was dropped off at the first stop in my terminal instead of at my airline. I also has messaged them a few days earlier to see if I could be picked up at an earlier time but they did not respond. Save some money and just grab a cab in your own. This is a ripoff.
We had the same driver pick us up at the airport and take us back. He was on time, helpful, spoke excellent English. Very safe driver. Car was clean and comfortable. For 6 people it was the best way to go and I would definitely use the service again.
As we were checking out of the hotel the desk clerk told us our driver was waiting for us at the curb. We were 20 minutes early. Wow. Service was great!
Excellent service and very reliable. We used this service for pickup at the airport and also pickup at our airbnb to the airport.
Do you see the Mercedes van in the picture above? Well, don't expect to ride in it while you're in Barcelona. I scheduled a transfer from our hotel to the airport months in advance of our trip. I stated clearly that we had 6 people (the reservation says 6 adults) even though in truth we are a family of six with 4 adult sized people and two smaller kids. We had just finished up a 10 day cruise and had 6 large rolling suitcases and 2 smaller carry-on bags. The only reason I pre-booked this travel was so that we would have a vehicle that could fit everything. The last thing I expected to see was a taxi cab minivan. The driver did his absolute best, but cracked one of our large suitcases cramming everything into the back of the van; slinging suitcases to shoulder height (to get on top of other suitcases) which each weighed close to 50 pounds. We sat shoulder to shoulder, with my husband in the front passenger seat, and suitcases in one of the third row seats which was folded down. If my 9 and 12 year olds had actually been adults, it would have been ridiculous. When we left the parking lot, the van bottomed out on the street because it was so loaded down. Again, the driver arrived on time, was courteous and professional, and DID manage to cram everything in (eventually) but this was not the experience i was expecting when I booked this transfer. If you're going to send a taxi van, why not show a taxi van in the photo so I can make an educated choice? A full sized van would have been much more suitable. I made it clear when I booked the transfer that we would have 6 people and lots of luggage. I also emailed the company the night before our booking to advise them a second time. I couldn't even believe it when I saw that minivan. I could have just had the concierge hail me a taxi (or two). Never again with these clowns.
