    When I arrived BCN airport, I walked to the taxi line for transportation to my hotel on La Rambla. I took a photo of the car's license plate and asked driver what the fee would be....he told me E37 and that is what I paid when we reached the hotel. He was friendly and a safe driver. I remained in the taxi until the driver exited and had removed my luggage from the trunk. He was a safe driver and it had been a good experience so I gave him a E3 tip even thought I know it wasn't necessary. My hotel booked my return taxi to airport but I paid driver directly. The driver picked me up at 7 a.m. on a Monday. When I asked how much would the fare be, he told me because it was the weekend and it was night...the fare would be E46. I disputed with him that it was Monday morning....certainly was but he insisted night hours continue until 8 a.m. I entered the taxi and didn't say much else during the ride. When I arrived at airport I was charged E46 and when I told him he was overcharging me, he added that it included airport taxes. I believe the driver took advantage of me but I don't know how to confirm. Maybe it is better to take Uber.

    we booked suntransfers from bcn airport to our hotel SERHS del port. the agent was waiting in the exact spot that was written on our information sheet. the taxi driver was courteous; and, we arrived at our hotel quite quickly. the fare was extremely reasonable. (38-39 euros).
