We had a wonderful day out organised by Gorgio which included a tour of Alberobello . We arrived from a different direction from the main tourist drag to a very quiet part of the village without shops. A few locals invited us in and we had good fun listening to their stories. Gorgio is very knowledgeable and good company. We later arrived in the more busy “touristy” area and it was quiet different. Gorgio also took us to eat the best Burratta we have ever eaten. We are a group of ladies between 45-55 we do a trip once a year to a different location. Giorgio was one of the best guides we have had. Fun, professional and knowledgable. We would highly recommend this tour.
Thank you for some wonderful tours! We also had the tour of Bari, which also where excellent! Giorgio is an amazing guide, very friendly and we felt super comfortable. He told a lot of interesting things about the area. This part of our holiday was absolutely the best! The best guide we have ever had. Had a great time! It was nice to experience a lot of Bari in one day! I would def do it again. The tour guide was nice which made the trip enjoyable!
What made this tour great was the "inside" knowledge of our stops that Giovanna had. She was direct and to the point of those things I should see and experience. Giovanna knows where the hidden gems are such as an owner inhabited Trulli who allowed us to view his personal garden ; a walk through a Trulli home decorated as it may have been hundreds of years ago which included a sip of homemade red wine as we exited ; a special caffe in Polignano a mare; a private tour of an Alberobello farm that makes burrata among of a variety of other cheeses, vegetables and meats ; phenomenal sights and vistas in Locorotondo.
