Overview

Join me at my home in Oberaudorf for a Bavarian family style dinner and learn how to make Schnitzel, potato salad ‘Boarisch’ style & schmarn! I put the Schnitzel hammer LITERALLY into your hands and share with you my grandmothers recipes straight from the farmstead!

Sip some of our favorite Bavarian beers during the cook course and enjoy a local schnapps to top off the meal. You join me each step of the way. We pick you up from the train station in Oberaudorf and then its straight into my kitchen with all the fixin’s and most importantly schnitzel hammer!

After cooking and enjoying our meal together, we say Servus and get you back to the station in time for your train, but not before you get your own Adventure Bavaria recipes to take back with you so you can make Schnitzel at home for all your family and friends.

    We had a wonderful time taking the schnitzel class with Anna and Tyler. It was the absolute highlight of our trip. We had the honor of being the first class in their newly renovated kitchen. The kitchen is perfect set up for the class. We all enjoyed the process of making the meal, we learned some new (to us) techniques that we will taking home with us, and the food itself turned out wonderfully. Our only regret was that we did not play to spend the night in one of their guest houses. Everyone agreed that the cooking class was the top moment of the trip. Anna and Tyler are certainly invited to make some Cajun food with us if they make down to south Louisiana.

    This was one of the coolest experiences of all my travels. It was perfect from start to finish. The train ride from Munich was beautiful and very easy (for Americans who may be intimidated by public transport). Tyler was there to greet us at the station and it was a short drive to the most adorable house with a gorgeous Mountain View. We were greeted by the sweet and wonderful Anna and with fresh cappuccino. Anna was a wonderful teacher and knows so much about not only Bavarian food but culture. We can’t wait to try these recipes at home with the adorable recipe cards she gave us. You have to book this one!

    This experience was awesome. Anna was so great and inviting. Her communication was excellent on planning to get to Oberaudorf and it was well worth the one hour train ride from Munich. We had an excellent time and we cannot recommend highly enough. They picked us up at the train station and it was a 5 minute drive to their house. Top notch and great immersive experience.

    Can‘t say enough about my afternoon in Oberaudorf at Adventure Bavaria. It was the highlight of my trip! Cooking with Anna was delightful. I learned to make schnitzel and classic German potato salad while practicing my German. Enjoyed replicating the recipes for friends when I came home. The class is well organized and lots of fun.
