Marine, our guide was amazing. A group of 8, we were picked up on time and had a full day of visiting D-Day invasion beaches, the American Cemetery, Airborn Museum, and other interesting sights. Time for lunch on our own with a variety of places to grab a bite. Marine is knowledgeable, personable, and an excellent driver of our van.

I'm really glad I chose Bayeux Shuttle for our guide. The afternoon for our trip, SNCF messed up our plans by cancelling our train past Caen. I was ready to skip the whole thing and forfeit the money paid already, but Bayeux really stepped up, repeatedly contacting us until we connected and took care of us completely, picking us up and returning us to the station at Caen, and ensuring that we were well cared for the entire way. Amazing and unexpected! Our guide, Rethro, was exceptional. He amended our tour to match the group needs, taught us in a way that was personal and memorable, and was kind and generous with our group. He even translated for us at the SNCF counter to make sure our prepaid (and abandonned) return trip was applied to the trip we had to take back to Paris. I can't imagine a company doing this level of customer service today. If it hadn't been for all their effort, we would have totally lost out on this experience. The tour was incredible, and Bayeux Shuttle made it possible for us!

This would have been a great tour solely based on its comprehensive itinerary. What made it even better was our tour guide Morgane. From 8:45 until 5:30, she was entertaining and awesomely knowledgeable. We had been looking forward to this tour and were glad we followed Rick Steve’s suggestion to go with Bayeux Shuttle.
