So close to Berlin, this is simply a must-see. More thought-provoking than the 'better known' camps, made all the more enjoyable by an informative and engaged tour-guide; many thanks Gabriella.

Chloe was a wonderful guide and the experience was very informative. I think La Vacanza Travel needs to provide mini buses to take us to the camp and then return us later to the train station. The walk from the train station to the camp, 20 minutes, was very difficult because it was fast paced and strenuous. We actually were on our feet most of the excursion. You need to be a strong walker and definitely wear sneakers.

We were fortunate to have such a great guide for this experience. Ronan was a wealth of knowledge, easily accommodated our questions and helped us make sense of the experience. I believe this is a tour everyone should experience. This helps us remember the past so we are not doomed to repeat it.

As horrible as this tour is in visiting and discussing the Nazi concentration and extermination camps Walid made the tour bearable with his wry sense of delivery of information. I was really dreading the tour but felt it was important given my heritage and I'm so glad I was specifically on his tour.

Although one arrives at such a camp with pre-conceived notions you are not quite ready for what it is that you will see and experience. It is mans inhumanity to man that is writ large in places such as this. Ordinary people carried out the most appalling crimes on other ordinary people. We must learn from this to make sure that it can never happen again. Our tour guide Walid did this tour full justice
