We had a lovely afternoon there. Lovely experience. Afternoon tea was good although sandwiches weren’t good at all. Very dry & hardly any filling but cakes & scones & tea were good. Staff were lovely. We met a tour guide called Francis who was very informative.

Well this has to be my fifth time going to the Tower with my family. The moment you open the doors into the ballroom it’s like you’ve been transported back in time, it is all so beautiful preserved and looked after! This time on the stairs we were greeted by Francis we called him Fabulous Francis, what a lovely warm welcome was given to us all with a wealth of knowledge of the Tower Francis runs the heritage tours from the Tower which we would have booked but didn’t have the time as we only had a day, next time we definitely intend to do this. Well done Francis too from Donna & Co

I booked me and my 2 children to visit the tower. On arrival I didn't mention my booking I just asked about availability. I was told its closed for the whole of April for maintenance work after booking tickets for April, readily available on the website for April dates. It was not weather related according to the staff. However it seems they have a no refund policy. On the basis of this they could charge 100s of people to book tickets they can never use. This is blatantly an issue. Weather I can accept. Maintenance I cannot as this is poor management and communication. I will be exhausting every avenue to get a refund. Not fit for service! Non refund for weather no issue, no refund for closure for maintenance, no thanks.

Closes for weeks and is expensive. Feel very ripped off with my 2 day ticket as only things open are circus and dungeons. Wish we'd gone to bogna instead
