If you are looking for a guided experience of the Marlborough Wine region but also want to do a bit of exploring on your own then our half and half biking wine tour is the tour for you. Spend a morning on our half day guided biking wine tour. Your knowledgeable and experienced guide will talk to you about the history of the area and its wines and the stories of its people.You will visit three wineries in the morning and then you are free to go it alone for the afternoon with your bike, a wine map and some helpful pointers from the guide on where to visit.  

Peddle along flat, easy terrain that is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.  All morning winery tasting fees included.

Free hotel pickup and drop-off from Blenheim and Renwick hotels. . Up to 8 people per guided tour.

Stop At: Explore Marlborough Wine Tours, 193 Rapaura Road, Blenheim 7273 New Zealand

Having been picked up from your accommodation you will be taken to Explore Marlborough's base at the Vines Village where you will be set up on your bike, given a helmet and a hi-viz vest. The Vines Village has restrooms, a cafe and a cellar door.

Had a fabulous day exploring the wines of Marlborough by bike .. We were well looked after by our guide and by staff at each of the cellar doors. Cycling along quite roads and tracks between the vineyards is a great way to soak up the atmosphere of Marlborough

Had a blast this is the best way to see Blenheim and vineyards, so safe and fun. The tour guides very informative and the bikes were easy to use

This tour was great. The morning guided section was well structured, with easy cycling along quiet lanes accompanied by knowledgeable commentary. The three vineyards we stopped at for tasting were all super high quality and we were made to feel very welcome. Our guide gave us great tips for lunch (though the best tip is to book a few days in advance) and where to go in the afternoon. The people we met on the trip were all great fun.

We thoroughly enjoyed our half day wine tour in the Marlborough region with Morris as our guide. Morris gave us some really interesting facts about winemaking in the region and he also shared some of his local knowledge. The wines that we tried were great and the company also kindly allowed us to take the bikes to one more vineyard ourselves before returning to the base in the evening. A great day out and I would highly recommend.
