This tour was not as advertised. My Hotel was listed for a pick-up, they called the hotel and emailed my confirmation. But no transport arrived. I had to activate travel pass to call number, sent a taxi, which I then had to pay for. The Virgin Mary’s house was an additional 275 TL, which should have been included. The ride back to the hotel, was a drop off in the middle of toeing for me to find my own way. I am seeking reimbursement of $15 for the House of VM and $6 for the taxi ride. Please refund $21.00

It was horror. I bought a Ticket for the Cultural Tour (not shopping). program with 5 Stops Basilica of Saint John with sant John Grave; 2. The Virgin Mary Hause ; Bibliotheque of Celscius ; The Temple of Artemis and Ancient City of Ephesus. But there were three other stops at the llokum shop, gold shop and Turkish bazaar. We start the tour at 6.40. and arrived at the Destination Ephesus at 12 o'clock at 40 degrees Celsius under the sun a very difficult moment to vizit a arceologic city. We lose 5 hours in Turkish Shopping. I think in Turkey, Viatour and Local Operators are cheating with toursits. They do not respect the Cultural Heritage. meby persons working as tour guides are paid with commissions they receive in turkish llokum deligh factoryes and shops, and textiles????? Shame for not respecting the Miracles of Antiquity. That is why in Turkey there are many visitors from Eastern Countries and few tourists from Western Countries

If you want to see one of the UNESCO heritage sites I strongly recommend this tour. The English language guides are very knowledgeable and very nice , you feel very welcomed. It’s a long drive but all worth it .

Our guide was fine, very knowledgeable and spoke decent English. However,ZERO organizational skills! We made an unannounced 50 minutes visit to a jewelers store with no added value , and another 20 min to a Turkish sweets store, which was not mentioned in the itinerary, but just an extra method of trying to make us buy . The whole trip since the morning was continuously late. The guide gave a timing to regroup and he didn’t even follow it himself. The optional visit to the house of Mary was truly optional, however, what they don’t tell you is that it means the rest gets thrown out of the bus and waits in the sun with no guide for an hour and a half. Not to mention the horrible tasteless food both in the breakfast restaurant and the lunch place. Very disappointed and would never tour with this company ever again.
