Oner is an excellent guide. He showed us sights in Bodrum we never would have found on our own. Oner made us very comfortable. It was like spending the day with a good friend.

Amazing walking tour with Selahattin during a few hours we had in Bodrum off our cruise ship. Perfect interaction prior to the day of the tour to ask our preferences, introduce himself and set a time and place to meet. He clearly loves this city and Turkey and is a wealth of knowledge, sharing information about history and really anything we had a question about. He is also a licensed tour guide so was able to come into the castle with us and give us a private tour. He then allowed us a short break for a refreshment along the water before showing us the best places to shop in the town and guiding us a very local and excellent place for lunch. A perfect way to spend a few hours in the town.

For the first hour or so of my five-hour private tour of Bodrum, I was hanging on Selahattin's every word. He had so much knowledge about Bodrum, Turkey and the region, and he shared it with passion. Soon, though, Selahattin became more than a guide. It was as if I was visiting a long-time friend who delighted in showing his hometown. Every step of the way, my new friend offered me choices and explained the options. He really wanted to make sure that he was providing the experience I wanted. And indeed he did. Beyond the sights of interest, Selahattin also introduced me to one of his favorite lunch spots--one that locals frequented, not tourists. In the US, we might refer to the place as a dive--but in the positive and most authentic sense. The experience started at a counter, where 7 or 8 pans and pots simmered with the day's specials. One of the restaurant staff explained what each dish was. I selected some tasting portions of a few of them, which were taken to my seat. Delicious, authentic and filling. I liked it so much I returned the next day on my own. Just like so much that he showed me, Selahattin is himself a treasure. I was delighted that I had such a charming and knowledgeable guide and also that I'd made a new friend.

We had a wonderful time with the guide. The guide was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and very kind. They made us feel just like home. Furthermore, we did not know how time passed by as we saw the entire city of Bodrum. We really had a personalized photographer in the guide. I could not expect anymore. Highly recommend.
